Lo scultore iperrealista Ron Mueck lavora nel regno "dell' Ultra-Reale" dove passa centinaia di ore a perfezionare la forma della forma umana, il colore appropriato della pelle, e la struttura dei capelli più realistica. Hyperrealist sculptor Ron Mueck works in the realm of the ultra-real where he spends hundreds of hours perfecting the shape of the human form, the appropriate color of skin, and the most realistic hair texture. All of his efforts culminate in incredibly lifelike figurative sculptures with one small (or large) exception: the artworks are often gigantic or miniaturized, resulting in an uncomfortable “does not compute” moment when trying to comprehend exactly what you’re looking at. Each sculpted person is as bizarre as it is amazing, in part because of the raw intimacy portrayed in their faces, as if we are somehow witnessing the documentation of a private moment.

ART : AUTOMOBILI RITRATTE IN VOLO

Il fotografo Matthew Porter ha catturato delle belle immagini di queste auto d'epoca mentre saltano. Alcuni penseranno che sono salti veri, ma non è così. Matthew comincia prendendo immagini di grande formato di paesaggi urbani aridi, e poi dondola auto in miniatura da un braccio meccanico,accuratamente illuminato, e crea la composizione per lo scatto. Ha poi fonde digitalmente le due foto e il risultato appare come qualcosa uscito da una scena di Starsky & Hutch o Hazzard.

Photographer Matthew Porter has captured the beautiful images of these classic cars while jumping. Some will think they are real jumps, but it is not. Matthew begins taking large-format images of cityscapes dry, and then swing miniature car by a mechanical arm, carefully lit, and create the composition for the shot. He then digitally merges the two images and the result looks like something straight out of a scene from Starsky & Hutch or Dukes of Hazzard.

ART : LA BATTAGLIA DEL FOSSO DI HELM CON 150.000 LEGO

E' la battaglia del Fosso di Helm, tratta dalla saga del "Signore degli Anelli". Il progetto e la creazione sono durati 4 mesi, Rich-K e Big J(i creatori) hanno utilizzando un totale di 150.000 mattoncini Lego e 1.700 personaggi, l'intera struttura pesa circa 160 chili, e ha le dimensioni di un tavolo da ping pong.

Two guys who go by the moniker Rich-K and Big J have recreated a battle scene from ‘Lord of the Rings’, entirely with 150,000 LEGO pieces.The scene from the popular ‘Lord of the Rings’ movie is the Battle of Helm’s Deep. The project took four months to complete.Using a total of 150,000 of the toy bricks and 1,700 mini-figures, the entire structure weighs approximately 160 pounds, and is the size of a table tennis table.
